Hot take alert: Sundar isnt really a test class bowler is he. Impressive batting in Australia but he needs to do a lot of work on his bowling, should be using his height better.
Fair point. Needs to come over the top of his front leg more

Tom Flint

International Regular
Those runs in the nineties came too easy,no pressure should have bought the field in or at least ashwin or bumrah on for an over before the new ball.

Wondered that too, the comms said how much the main 3 bowlers bowled but Nadeem has almost bowled as much as Ashwin it's not like Ashwin has bowled 25 overs and Nadeem 10 or something.

Washington Sundar for all the guts he has to take on the best bowler in the world, is pretty meh with his own bowling.

International Regular
Bumrah was top notch irrespective of what stats say, Sibley was lucky enough to negotiate some of his fiery yorkers.

I mean it wouldn't be the first time in the world a bowler had a blinder with the bat on debut would it?
Not many I can think of during a very critical stage of the series. He is a part of Indian cricket folklore now, irrespective of how his test career turns out to be.
