Still think we need Watson in the team.

Good decision by Ponting for mine.
I really can't see why... look at what this team has done. Sure there has been a bit of help from the pitch, but it takes the bowlers to hit those right areas; and on a batting side of things, well the 1st innings total speaks for itself.

Watson is not needed unless 2 spinners are played.

Is that the first session we've won?

Credit to Collingwood particularly. I think it's obvious he isn't the most naturally gifted batsman & looked all at sea to Clark before lunch, but he's hung in there with sensible, low-risk cricket.

A few close shaves for both Pietersen & Collingwood that session, luckily for them they didn't quite go to hand, so credit must go to them.

I was really impressed by Clark in the first and second innings. This guy deserved more wickets.

I hope Pietersen and Collingwood are able to bat through to the end of the day without getting out because there is still a whole day to play and I want to see some real fight from these guys.

If they can bat out this session, then there just might be a slight hope for a draw.

KP looking to get after Warne here. Not really what is needed IMHO, but could be entertaining while it lasts. & Warney clearly not too happy with it either!

They must be kicking themselves for batting with a lot more purpose 1st time around. TBH they looked like a bunch of sitting in the 1st innings.

KP still not happy with the fake-hair, adulterous, drug addled cheating get.

I've nowt against him myself.

Hey I'm speaking proper English, colonial:p

Well, it is making it look a little more respectable, but its still a gubbing in anybodies language though.

Looked out for me at first glance, but Warne's reactive appeal was the key. If he doesn't go straight up it's a marginal one at best.

Was KP out? Why didn't they show hotspot yet?
I thought he was, and when they showed hot spot it looked like there was a smudge right on the bottom of the bat...but then snicko showed nothing so...maybe not. If it wasn't the bat, what did it hit? Is there a dead beetle on the wicket?

KP and Colly batting brilliantly here. Have to be there at the end of they day to have any chance to save the match tho
