Because no other matches are getting the same treatment. The tournament has already started and doing this doesn't make any sense. If they wanted to hype up India-Pak match then they should have made it the opening match.

I think given the context and how rare the Ind-Pak games are, its not necessarily a bad thing to make an event out of it even within an event. Its how it was treated even in that T20 WC last year.
