Not sure why strikerate plays such a huge part. Both fast scorers (ie; Wilson) and slow scorers (Hakon) have their advantages.Loony BoB said:I'll use your batting, Dauth, as an example.
X - Rating - You rated second highest at the end of season ratings.
A - Average - You had the second best average at the end of the season.
R - Runs - You had the third most runs for the season.
S - Strike Rate - You had the eleventh best strike rate.
C - 50/100s - Using a system of 1 point for a 50, 2 points for a 100 and 4 points for a 200, you got 12 points, placing you second in the 50/100s department for the season.

I believe that a good strike rate is a pretty important thing, actually, in today's game. When the only difference between two player's stats is that one scores fast, I go for the fast scorer as you're more likely to get a win, and I believe that's what every team should be aiming for.However, strike rate didn't make much difference to the overall order.

very happy with my batting average higher than i thought it was, the SR was a little low but meh. mybowling average skyrocketed after that 5-fer, though my average was comparable to alot of other bowlers - Hoy a real standout with the ball in OD games.

Awesome to see the massive clumps of blue on those charts congregated near the tops, the bowling especially top-dollar.
I finished 9th in the averages for OD. That's hilarious.
