How Points are worked out

38.1.1 For a win, 14 points, plus any points scored in the first innings.

38.1.2 In a tie, each side to score seven points, plus any points scored in the first innings.

38.1.3 In a drawn match, each side to score four points, plus any points scored in the first innings (see also paragraph 38.1.6).

38.1.4 If the scores are equal in a drawn match, the side batting in the fourth innings to score seven points plus any points scored in the first innings, and the opposing side to score four points plus any points scored in the first innings.
I read all of that as 'points scored' and score in terms of points.
ie if the scores are equal (total points gained from bonus batting and bonus bowling) therefore team batting last (if there is a 4th innings) obtains an additional 3 points ontop of the drawn points and bonuses.

I've never seen a side score 15 points after a draw in the County Championship, so I think Adam's interpretation is correct.

Bloody good if you ask me. :) And that's not even including Comley, who also has a bowling average under 20 (I think). If only our batting could put on as much pressure as our bowlers!
hmm... not tooooo bad! :p

With the Reds losing Wright, Black losing Bhatia and the Greens never being much good (:p), it's understandable that Blue would have the best pace attack this season. There's still room for improvement though.

A very interesting race so far. Not much between the teams.

Hmm. Looks like Towns is leading the run scoring with 311, and De Silva and myself are 2nd and 3rd with 266 and 246. Blackman on 186 and Stedman on 185 round out the top 5. Nice showing from the blue middle order. :)

Collins is tied with Broadbent leading the wicket taking with 8 each, and then there's five more on 7 - Comley, Hoy, Garven, Thompson and myself.
