Happy with my season. 1000 runs in both forms of the game. Hopefully I can continue this during the post-season and the charity games.

ANYWAY. Congratulations to Simon on a stellar season - averaging 56 where the next best in your team was 36 - scoring a mammoth 2400 runs in a single season. Also congratulations to Hakon - a great season by any standards, and many games were won because of your rock solid batting.

Two bowlers stood out: Rob Timewell and Sangrah Bhatia. Timewell was an enigma - taking wickets at will, finishing with a HUGE 122 wickets @ 18.5, absolutely gunned it. And Bhatia - unlucky to miss out on a spot in the Test XI, having an awesome season, being one of only 2 (the other being Timewell) bowlers to snare 100 wickets this season, with 107 @ 23.

Anyway, looks like it was a great season! Hak and Simon the only batsmen to average over 40 (excluding Lezama who played only 7 matches), Wilson with some superb all rounding ability with 1430 runs and 66 wickets, and Timewell and Bhatia the only bowlers breaching 100 wickets. Good luck next season everyone.

**Just shows the strenght of these rookies.. a lot of them have got over 1000 runs and/or 50 plus wickets.....***

happy with my second season in CWland.... my OD ave has boosted well this year up to around 45. my 5D ave still improved but only by a few runs to 35.

Lets hope us balcks win both trophys now.

Very happy with my season just gone, bi dissapointed that a few poor games here and there left me short of the golden 100 mark, but 90 wickets @ 21.84 is a good effort over the season and a big improvement on last season(Which i was still happy with). Also got 538 runs with the bat batting a 10.

Good season everyone, see you all next year :D

the green bowlers have really made the difference this season, Timewell, Hoy, Cunningham and Weber. 359 wickets at 21.75 superb stuff

It's been a brilliant season really for us Blacks and myself personally. I could've never imagined taking over a hundred wickets this year. It's been a lot of fun and very rewarding. Rob Timewell was absolutely brilliant, and he's got such a bright future ahead of him.

Simon (Broncoman) was outstanding all season, his batting is something for the younger players to look up to.

Overall, a great season and thrilled with my contribution towards it.

Extremely happy with my efforts.

From 15 wickets @ 32 after my first 4 games, to finish up with 64 @ 26 after 14 games is a pleasing effort personally. Team performance was pretty dissapointing, we just couldn't hold the consistancy together.

does it show the strength of these rookies or the unrealistic stats that they have entered?

Rookies compared to experienced players - OD

Green - Goff, Malone and Feeney followed by Garven and Walsh in the batting
the bowling - Hoy than Timewell, Rai and Cunningham and Malone

Blue - M Desilva, Phillips, Camps, Crampton
bowling - Fuller, Camps, patrick and Halsey all about the same number of wickets

Red - Markus, Dauth, Dobson and Stedman
bowling - Wright, Borich than about 7 or 8 in the next group

Black - Loc, Chaulk, Kearsley, Blackman
bowling - Wilson, Thompson, broadbent, hing and pickup

Well the system needs a fresh intake rookies each season, doesn't it? This season's bunch of "super rookies" adds spice to the mix... Though I do agree that experienced players (Like the great Nath Patrick for instance ;)) aren't getting as much success as they -probably- deserve.

Whilst obviously I think this season's rookies should be left as they are for next season, any new rookies should be controlled to an extent.

Pretty happy with the season in FC, 614 runs @20.47 batting at number 10/11 is not to be sniffed at and 59 wickets @ 25.42 with an ecomomy of 1.79.

i think i also got the most maidens in the dev league

OD not so great.

Lets win these finals.

haha dont you dare call me great, even with a smiley :D

i apologise for my moaning, most unfair really. the new influx of rookies has overall helped the CW system. With them succeeding, they are more likely to post and become involved. Sorry once more :)

Nah, I think that people who have stuck around longer and been perhaps more active and helpful in the system should be given some sort of reward - and I can understand why you're slightly opposed to people coming out of nowhere and reaping the benefits. Oh well. I'll no longer be a rookie next season! :D
