There’s a dearth of good young halves coming through, it’s been an issue for years. Young guys showing good potential are always gonna get the house thrown at them by someone.

even if that's so, the dogs have no need for that. we have a five eighth who's an incredible ballrunner and with a better kicking and passing game. we've tried the burto to seven thing before and it's a shocker - and galvin isn't a seven's arsehole. if he was to thrive anywhere it'd be partnered up with like a dce or a sam walker or a mitch moses - controlling halfback who does well opposite a five eighth who can run it - aside from the fact that gus loves the kid there's no positional or team reason he's needed at the dogs

i preface this by saying i love the sin bin and that magic round where there were like six binnings a game was awesome to me genuinely
but that just there was the worst binning i've ever seen. big sipley got knocked out by the dragons player's shoulder and so went flying ffs!
