Pfft, get in line, junior. My side hasn't won a comp since 1986.

Couple of obvious questions to ask - what were the Warriors thinking Papalli'i go ffs? He's a ****ing ridiculous player.

Also, what were the Broncos thinking letting Walsh go ffs? He's a ****ing ridiculous player.

As someone who started following Balmain in '98 as an 8 yr old I can say they objectively are the most frustrating team to follow.

The tigers whole mantra since like forever has been 'wel accept you scoring on us wel just try to score more'

It's so dumb.

Nah it's the Warriors. Our forwards get tired after 30 minutes, we've got what I term "Warriors passing" on attack where they all go "it's your turn" and pop a little floaty one to a guy standing still (less of that bullshit since Reece Walsh debuted tbf). We love falling asleep for 30 minutes per game and our current defense MO is "push them wide, let them score".

I love/hate us so much.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tigers had the worst record in golden point or lost the highest % of games that are decided by 6 or less points. We fold under pressure so bad.

Let's agree both our teams are painful to follow

So I've just checked. We've lost 14 of 19 golden point games, the worst record of all the sides. Not surprised one bit

seeing rumours reece walsh will be stolen by queensland for origin.

hopefully not. he's too talented to be wasted on a series between two states who both lose the national club comp to melbourne on the daily. if he's not going to be a full time warrior he may as well come to rugby union.

plus who even wants to play for queensland? it's not quite as bad as playing for the melbourne storm but it's on the road there.
To be fair, Melbourne have been the best QLD team for quite some time. Since Cronk, Slater and Smith left they are less QLD-centric, but that's where their main feeder clubs are isn't it?

QLD picking Walsh is interesting. I haven't seen a lot of him this year, but he must be a good player to get the early call up. Going into the team after a 50-6 drubbing isn't the easiest of circumstances though.

Munster and Grant will just pick up where Cronk and Smith left off there

Papenhouzen will slip nicely into Slater's role but not a Queenslander

Not pleased Walsh has been picked for origin as he is not physically mature in his body growth yet and could get hurt
Reeks of killing the goose that laid the golden egg

I support the warriors as a kiwi and follow closely
My other teams I have a soft spot for are Brisbane and the dogs

Dogs need to really improve their line up and have some good acquisitions for next year
However in the past their recruitment team has been naff and has bought into narratives of has beens and never been and never will bes
Case in point we all knew Flanagan plays like he has a bad case of hepatitis c yet the dogs bought into smoke around him being created by his agent and Kyle's mum
Dogs have been the worst discerners of talent over the past 5 years and that needs to change
Go slowly don.t rush your decisions

In other news we signed Shaun Johnson today for 22 and 23
He's coming home !!

Word going around is he’s read a bit too much of his own press and has being carrying on like a complete spud. Reflected in his recent efforts tbh

So he's essentially back to where he was in 2017/18? Or perhaps nothing ever changed.

I thought it was very good of Qld to once again stick to their principles and refuse to register on the Harvey Norman Jobkeeper Scoreboard.

In other news, shame Cleary is out for Friday and likely game three. Don’t like seeing the best players missing at any time.

The Courier Mail will be furious they're no chance of claiming a victory on overall points scored, like they did back on 2019. Although, if QLD wins the last one 71-0, they'll be ecstatic.
