Barca played tremendous football to bounce back after that shock wave.
If they were that good the "shock wave" wouldn't have happened.

It was Barca's game which Chelsea won with a tremendous goal in the end. So deserving winners. No doubt.
Nice to see someone so gracious in defeat (!)

Poo.

We didn't quite do enough to force the result. Reyes was ar$e & Vieira anonymous until the last twenty or so.

No complaints. Apart from SP's frankly unnecssary comment. Closet Seven Sisters. Def. :D

To pi$$ off back to Espana sharpish, hopefully!
Not really the Ar$enal tradition tho is it, I mean going to your own country's league to play football. Perhaps they can sell him off to Barcelona as a finishing school for his diving (I'm sure Deco can show him what he's doing wrong), then once that's mastered he can call himself a true gunner and go back to Ar$enal.

Anders "the swedish porn star" Frisk has announced his retirement from refereeing after he received numerous threats after the 1st Chelsea vs Barca game. Big shame i think, i always rated him as a ref, sad to see how some fans take it, and the end of the day it's only a game, and they have ended up jeapordising one man's livelihood.

Frisk was always poor because he was like a FIFA robot. He runs around swinging a yellow card at people as if he got a £5000 bonus for each and every injury inflicted by his coloured pieces of plastic. Collina is far better because he actually uses common sense and doesn't fell the need to pose like football's version of Billy Bowden.

Anyway shame Arsenal are pretty much through after 10 minutes against Bolton, even they'd struggle to mess this one up.

I've decided to invest £5 with Mr Ladbrookes today on 6 home wins.

I've gone for:

Ipswich to beat Forest
Hull to beat Torquay
Notts County to beat Kidderminster
Celtic to beat Dunfermline
Gretna to beat Queens Park &
Peterhead to beat Albion

They come in I'm £24.40 richer minus me stake. :)
