i am a massive liverpool fan adn we beat wb 5 - 0 and we are struggling but how bad is it when we are in 6th place lol

bt goodto see the mighty reds get there 2nd away win this season....bout time we played well but we did win against 10 men, when one of the defenders thought he was a 2nd keeper. lol

Remind us again which difficult league they signed Horse from.
Sorry, I worded it wrong. Over their English carrers, yes.

And of course, CL is more important because it is against the cream of the crop rather than against WBA-esque teams.

I'd back WBA to beat Sparta Prague or Fenerbahce. Or Tel-Aviv. Or...

Do they actually have any defenders in the team after that performance?

Is it me or does this policy of booking players for taking off their shirt after they have scored seem like a farce, unless they had a shirt underneath that said some offensive message.

Bloody Mike Riley missed a nailed-on pen for Liverpool too; absolutely blatant handball. :(

On a side note, I see that officially from today "soccer" is finally "football" in Oz. The Australian Soccer Federation has become the Australian Football Federation.

Finally giving up the pretence that Victorians in sleeveless shirts with bad haircuts beating each other up is Football! Here's to all Aussies calling "dunnies" bogs by 2006!

Always drives me nuts when idiots in the media refer to football as soccer, tell the yanks where to go and call it football - their pathetic game can be called whatever else we like.

You mean that touch-Rugby League in crash helmets & full body armour they play?!? :D

(Grudging) congrats to Chelsea. The sort of performance that wins titles. The Scousers should've had that pen tho.

Yes, and what annoyed me further was that he saw it and referred to it as 'ball-to-hand'. Still, these things even themselves out eventually, Liverpool were the better team, and really should blame themselves for not nailing Chelsea when they should have.
