ODI Cricket Team Draft

marc71178

Eyes not spreadsheets
I'm going to have to get a keeper (and this one at least gives me more options for later picks) - Brendon McCullum

Joao

U19 12th Man
Someone to give the ball a bit of thwack in the middle order and can bowl a bit.

Yuvraj Singh.

1 Anwar
2 Gibbs
3 Sangakkara
4
5 Yuvraj
6
7
8 Botham
9 Marshall
10 Warne
11

Nate

You'll Never Walk Alone
Average position in the draft order. Highest - Lowest. In the case of a tie whoever has been in the top half of the draft the greatest number of times comes first. If again it is tied, it comes down to alphabetical order :p

Nnanden – 5.571
pasag – 5.714
joao – 6.143
GeraintIsMyHero – 6.714
S.P. Fleming – 6.714
Pup Clarke – 7.429 (Top half 4 times)
Marcuss – 7.429 (Top half 3 times)
kingkallis – 7.714
metallics2006 – 7.857
Jamee999 – 8.143 (Top half 3 times)
Somerset – 8.143 (Top half 3 times)
BoyBrumby – 8.143 (Top half twice)
marc71178 – 8.714
Michaelf7777 – 9.00

Obviously there is an advantage to picking earlier in the rounds, so thought it may make for interesting point to compare Michael's team to Nnanden's and see how much he's made of that advantage. Plus I was bored.
Haha, wow. I haven't even had a top draft pick.

pasag

RTDAS
Funny thing is I was about to complain about being continuously middle of the order before getting two number ones. Staunch advocate of the system tbh

Somerset

Cricketer Of The Year
I'm going to have to get a keeper (and this one at least gives me more options for later picks) - Brendon McCullum
Was keen to take McCullum this round tbh, and follow the same strategy as that in the Mystery Draft thread where I selected him for my ODI team and with ample batting below him (something the current New Zealand side doesn't resemble) let him fire away at the top of the order.

S.P. Fleming

U19 Cricketer

I didnt think Id had as good positions as this said so I calculated my average. It was in fact 8.714, the same as Marc, which puts me in 12= out of 14. Anyay lets gat a move on in this draft people.

Might have calaculated you as somebody else.
Grrr. After Pasag took Vaas I went for a similar style player, someone to bowl but could hot a bat. GIMH to confirm that Yuvraj was originally my second choice.

I forgot to add on your final position of 14. Which adds on exactly 2 to your usualy place in the draft order and like you said drops you to 12th.

kingkallis

International Coach
Anil Kumble is my pick - badly needed a spinner! Very few spinners are left and I am sure many of you have him in your notepads ;)

A real warrior who helped India to win plenty of games...

5. Aravinda de Silva
6. Mark Boucher [ w/k ]
