I don't think Babar is going to retain his spot in the top 15 for too long the way he is going. Quite a lot of times, it feels like Fakhar is actually the best ODI batsman for Pakistan and Babar gets overrated

Time for some Andrew Symonds love next round. 198 games, 5088 runs @ 39.75 (better than Gilchrist and Waugh) with an incredible SR of 92.44 which is only bettered by 3 of the top 15 already voted in

It gets complicated beyond top 10 or so honestly. There's multiple different factors and it becomes a function of what do you weigh how much. I'd argue De Silva is too low considering his ability to destroy ATG attacks during his peak years. But then his overall stats are not that great so I can understand if he doesn't get more votes.

As difficult as it is, we are simply looking at a consensus. A consensus that has more validity when we have a greater volume of voters. Don't let this poll fall into a heap.

I mean, ODIs suck as a whole except World Cups. So 2 good and one legendary performance in 3 back to back victories definitely holds some wait personally.

Jayasuriya points from me for being a trend setter, etc etc.

Cricketer Of The Year
The last round where we had 15 voters and 10 different players getting top votes, indicates how difficult it is separating a lot of very good ODI players. As one whose interests have focused primarily on Tests, I have had to do a bit of research on certain players and, even then, it is tough judging different eras.
One player who should have been selected much earlier is Ross Taylor. He's in my votes this round.
