ODI All Rounder Poll - Discussions

We are down to the last 5 spots in our Top 30 ODI All Rounders. I've counted about double that number of players who have received recent votes and, while interest is high as is evident by the number of voters, I am reluctant to extend our poll beyond 30.
Earlier @Qlder posted that he would find it difficult to find genuine all rounders much beyond 20. Going beyond 30 would be far harder,

A name that cropped up in the last round was Ryan ten Doeschate. He has had limited opportunities at an ODI level but, in 15 fewer games than Neil Johnson he has a vastly superior batting average (1541 @ 67.00 vs 1679 @ 36.50) and taken more wickets (55 @ 24.13 vs 35 @ 34.86). While the majority of his games have been against 'minnows', it could be argued that he warrants a place in our list. I'll leave that up to our voters.

Ryan ten Doescharte getting votes? He's only played 7 matches against non-minnows where he's made 245 runs @ 35.00 and taken 10 wkts @ 41.90, econ 7.10

Afghanistan and Bangladesh and Ireland aren't minnows as well and he has 377@125.66 against them. Was a pretty good player and played for quite a few years, really unlucky to play for Netherlands. Think should atleast make the top 30

I can understand Ten Doeschate getting into a top Odi batsmen list but he is not a great allrounder. More part time.

55 wickets in 33 matches @24, against Test teams it's 20 wickets in 12 matches @32.5. He actually has much better a bowling record than I expected.

James Faulkner probably has the best allrounder record of anyone left.

69 games, 1032 runs @ 34.40, 1 100, 4 50's, 96 wkts @ 30.85, 4 - 4W, 1.39 wpm

Doing these ODI polls, I may have appeared a bit of an Anglophile - touting Morgan, then Willis and Collingwood. There were already plenty of Oz players and I was simply looking for balance.
The last round of voting saw Botham and Stokes added to our list, I voted for neither. Botham's batting was sub par and Stokes' bowling average in the 40s.

No problem. We all are biased to some extent .

There was a certain degree of controversy along the way but, in the end, we finished with a reasonable list of 30. There may be some players who might be regarded as unlucky but, as we moved deeper into the poll, there were obvious flaws or holes in some of the players nominated.
My thanks again to all who participated. It's also probably appropriate to post our final list for ease of reference.

I previously attempted a wicketkeepers poll for Tests but the voting stalled after 15 names.
Fielding voting would rely heavily on peer judgement and reputation,
15 names for ODI Wicketkeepers would be perfectly fine imo. Also think it's way easier to do for ODIs than Tests, as keeping skills are much less important here than batting.
