ill say this once and once only, to everyone if you dont like it, leave, every manager is replaceable...nibbs said:gosh marc. hmmm, i have to admit, i like the current set up better. this is all quite perplexing if you ask me. but then again it i suppose it could work...well maybe
And i will back this up and add, that the people who always complain are the people who always want new things and when they are added they are the 1st to complain...broncoman said:ill say this once and once only, to everyone if you dont like it, leave, every manager is replaceable...
Mister Wright said:Excellent.
I'm very pleased with the Board's timing of announcing this improvement. If it were to be announced later in the season it would be a very hectic and confusing time. And commendation to Marc aswell, deciding to give up his side for the betterment of the game.
because ur smart, or because u saw it in the staff forumMr Mxyzptlk said:I like it. I like it a lot. I predicted it though.
what would u be rewarded for man? your trading work stinks... if anything you shuld be punishedMr. P said:Sounds very very good, but one problem I have with this is that it does not seem to reward managers like say, Cloete or myself, who rely heavily on trading etc...this doesn't seem to reward that work...
don't steal my glory. i was the first to officially predict it in this threadMr Mxyzptlk said:I like it. I like it a lot. I predicted it though.

Only because you used the "What Would Liam Think?" pattern of thought.Slats4ever said:don't steal my glory. i was the first to officially predict it in this thread
I wonder if we'd have got any reaction from nibbs if it had been any other person running the finance?nibbs said:gosh marc. hmmm, i have to admit, i like the current set up better. this is all quite perplexing if you ask me. but then again it i suppose it could work...well maybe
Well on obvious situation would an extreme outburst of displeasure when a player gets injured.nibbs said:"as it may be that the manager makes controversial statements, which are likely to deter the sponsor from offering so much."
marc, could you give an example of this please??
Why do we want to stop these sorts of comments? I mean..I think it's great playing up my team and playing down nibbs' and stuff. Underrating player and teams and overrating others. It adds to the atmosphere of the game.marc71178 said:Well on obvious situation would an extreme outburst of displeasure when a player gets injured.
Although, don't worry Cloete, the sponsors haven't seen it!
cloete.... shut upCloete said:Why do we want to stop these sorts of comments? I mean..I think it's great playing up my team and playing down nibbs' and stuff. Underrating player and teams and overrating others. It adds to the atmosphere of the game.
I mean I don't want everyobody to go around nad simply say. Unlucky to your team played an excellent game, we were lucky to win. I mean.. where's the rivalry? Where's the passion?
Also, on another note if the difference between divisions as simon says "Isn't that great" does that mean I'm going to have to buy almost a completely new team becuase mine would be over the budget? I think it's ridiculous if it isn't quite different, becuase people who are promoted/relegated will get the new budget the next year, maybe even for trading.
The finances have the potential to make it great or the potential to make it not so great. The only problem I'm seeing is that there's always going to be some division or some group of managers who are marginalised... and I'm not so sure we want that. But.. let's hope we can figure something out.
Seconded.Slats4ever said:cloete.... shut up
