Would they not learn more playing against players of their own calibre though?Travis_Teh said:Just think past your black team for a change :P It's for the best for the players to get some international touring exposure. You'd like to depraive them of it and collar them to only play for the Blacks?
I'm quite certain that any players who do not wish to represent CWland in U-19 cricket can opt out of it to play for their dev league sides, just like with any other representative cricket.marc71178 said:Would they not learn more playing against players of their own calibre though?
I don't see what established players will gain from this to be honest.
That's rubbish. Look at the recent U-19 WC. Plenty of the players were first class regulars, particularly from the sub-continent nations. Piyush Chawla had first class experience and was called up to the test side a week after the final. Henriques played for NSW in the ING Cup final just after the WC, and played for them before it as well.marc71178 said:The thing is if it were real life, a player who is a first choice in domestic cricket would not be dragged off to play a far lower level of game.
Why do you say that, I always seem to do a lot better in FCsLoony BoB said:Jaso, you're not an FC specialist.
