Great haul from Andre Adams, 66 points will take some beating. Very pleased I've got Blackwell in my side though. :)

Of my players, 2 are black caps, one looks like he won't be playing any of the T20s, one is an international who will be playing after the fourth round and one is injured at the moment ...

Redmond's innings was fantastic today, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Flem score highly throughout the competition with more big totals from Redmond. As for my side, hoping that my Cantabs bank plenty of points tomorrow.

Austin Smellie is batting ten. IS he that bad. Why is Nevin in the team as a specialist batsman - why not just give him the gloves and play an extra bowler or batsman instead of AS.

Don't get this thinking.

I was actually just thinking the same thing

Ian Smith raised the same point this afternoon. I've never seen Austin-Smellie bat before so have no idea if he'd be useful if required to bat in the later overs of a T20 match and whether hes a better lower order hitter than someone like Harry Boam. The only reasons I can think of is that Wellington rate him as a better batsman late in the innings than Boam, and have enough bowling options with so many allrounders (Woodcock, both Wrights, Bowden, etc.) that another bowling option would be pointless.

Not Terrible
Austin-Smellie can bat, Ian Smith is a joke.

Nevin isn't better it's just that Wellington have an immensely long tail. Jeets is batting 11 for ****s sakes. DeWayne isn't better than Austin-Smellie, he was sent up the order as a pinch hitter.

Good to see my side performing alright given I've had the least players actually appear so far.
