He has **** for hands though.. and isn't as destructive as he used to be. He needs a big game soon or he will get dropped. I like the look of the other winger Vatuvai. Have you seen him Lord? he has the potential to be the best winger in the world
Yeh i have mate.. and he does certainly have some big potential behind him.. lets just hope he does carry on strongly !

There are a number of Australian & NZ players taking up 1 or 2 year deals in England with huge money involved. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to a team like Hull next season, earns twice as much and then comes back to Gold Coast perhaps?

Lolesi will stay, probably Mason as well
I heard the Tahs are after Mason, from what i've read it seems his very unlikey to stay at the Bulldogs. Also i thought Lolesi was pretty much signed sealed and delivered to GC.

if he plays like he did last night its a waste, if he plays like he did in origin 1 is a bargain. its definately a risk for melbourne but they need to take it, their fowards are soft.
i was under the impression he was a certainty to go to Souths or Bulldogs, oh well...
250k a year is actually pretty good and a bargin too. The one problem they will need is a new prop who can give them the same go forward and metres when Robbie Kearns retires at the end of the year.

hes only looking for 1 year deals apparently...
But how many clubs are going to give them? I would not be offering a guy a one year deal if he is going to play for me for one year and then bugger off.

Berrick Barnes has been lost to Rugby League (at least temporarily) he has signed for the sponsorless Queensland Reds.

thats a good move for the reds, they need all the help they can get.

I can see why he moved to Union. He's probably guaranteed to be a starter or at least on the bench for the beginning of next years Super 14.

I suppose he'll play 5/8? which isn't a position that Australian Rugby is extremely strong in at the moment..so thats another incentive.

I think he will play flanker - whatever that is.

Word out today is that the Gold Coast are chasing Iafeta Palea'aesina hard.
He is apparently off contract at the end of the season.

I doubt he will play flanker unless he puts on a lot more weight. He probably play inside centre or 5/8. He will probably we wasted playing at flanker, even if he built himself up.

I phrased that wrong. It wasn't what I thought, cause I know sweet F.A. about Rugby Union except that its boring. I remember the paper saying somthing about him playing flanker, but it could have been fly half - there are way too many positions in Rugby.
