Heh, the points differential is pretty stupid in a contest like this tbh. How does my opponent scoring well against me have any bearing on the strength of my team over the season?
In other news gave the Burgers a 905-693 whooping last week
Pretty happy with my performance this year tbh. Been ranked 6000-8000 (out of 126000) the whole year (despite a few memory related disasters) and had a couple of rounds in the top 2k. Made a few errors and definitely threw a few trades away too early. A few masterstrokes really helped me. Picking Uate and Barba up for cheap just as they hit purple patches is probably the best one. Uate's averaged something like 65 in the 5 weeks I've had him. Sezer, Mansour, and Reynolds all made me a ton of money and I've managed to get accumulate a pretty decent forward pack at the thin end of the year. Black marks include dropping Hurrell when his value was 105k (he peaked 150k higher than that), missing out on freebies like Matt Ryan and starting off with duds like Stanley and McKinnon. Those 3 mistakes probably cost me the extra few trades and hundred thousand $$ I needed to jump into the top 2-3 thousand.
