Week 20 saw Howsie roar back into contention with a round that far surpassed the majority of the field. 7 points was enough to see him at least two clear of all but Clapo's 6.
He only hit mid table this week, but special mention must go to morgieb for having the testicles to do what many of us must have been tempted by, picking the Raiders over the Dragons in Canberra. For the folks among us for whom League is only of passing interest, the Dragons haven't won in Canberra in over 10 years. Before the Sydney Olympics in June 2000 when Rod Wishart (WAG
) scored a winning try in the final minute for those with a long memory. Considering the circumstances of this win, the hoodoo must be approaching legendary proportions if it wasn't already.
Also folks I'm all virused up atm. Check your scores as things are a little foggy. Apologies in advance etc.
