NRL 2011 Tipping Thread

Come one, come all. The tipping comp for the 2011 NRL season is underway.Hopefully we get a strong turnout, but it's been a quiet start to the thread this year. Needs more footy talk. I blame Benchy tbh

Rules are the same as last year.

1) 1 point per correct tip.

2) A bonus point will be awarded for the week's top tipper(s).

3) No editing of tips. At all. If you change your mind please quote your original tips in a new post.

4) Non-submitters get the lowest score for the week for three weeks, then will be removed from comp.

5) Latecomers join on the lowest score minus one point.

First round of the year sees a massive performance from new guy Howsie to shoot him into an early lead, only missing out on a perfect round due to the Warriors failure at Eden Park. Fairly even scores from the rest of CW with the exceptions being Kyle and Craig who starts the year in pole position for the spoon.

Still plenty of time to join in folks. You'll start level with Craig, but the NRL tipping is a funny beast. Kyle had a poor start last year, but pulled it back to be pipped only in the final round for top spot.
