I could pick the same eleven every match, yes, but prefer to give all fourteen/fifteen a go, especially considering everyone is a vast unknown atm.

Australia sloppy, two Tests now remain

Nick Scott and Kyle Wright scratched out something that looked a little bit like form, as an inconsistent Australia played out a draw with Middlesex. While the bowlers showed patches of brilliance, countless errors in the field brought Australia back whenever they gained an advantage. Likewise, most of the batsmen seemed fine before throwing their wicket away. A much more mature effort is needed to compete in the Fourth Ashes Test.

Coach's Call -
Pretty average stuff, gotta say. Plan is to drop a batsman for Marks as he comes back into the side for the Fourth Test.

The Fourth Ashes Test Match
England vs Australia

Australia XI -
John Heads
Nick Scott
Kyle Wright
Neil Pickup (wk)
Greg Thomas
Jake McDonald
Higgy Marks
Ryan Dunn
Nathan Patrick (capt)
Kieran Horton
Heath Davis

Coach's Call -
Mitchell is dropped after a disappointing series as Marks comes back into the side. Pickup is rewarded for good form with a move up the order. C'mon 20 wickets!

At least they didn't lose

The call from the fans was to bring home a positive result and twenty wickets from this Test. Australia drew it, but could only manage seven English wickets as the bat dominated the ball in outstanding fashion. The total of 593 sounded big, but in reality could've been much better. Again, batsmen got in and threw their starts away. Crucially for England, Thomas and McDonald were dropped several times during their innings. But Australia needed some luck this tour and found it, at least while they batted.

Coach's Call -
Got nothing. Gelman will probably come back for the last Test.

This is pretty much the side that will take the field for the final Test Match, although Marks is just taking a rest becuase of his recent injury.. Heath takes over the captaincy from Patrick. Best of luck mate. (Y)

BREAKING NEWS - Australia have lost the toss and will bowl against a five star rated batting line-up on the flattest pitch of the tour.

International Vice-Captain
Mind if I join up? Be interested to see how my domestic career pans out and if I can break into the Australian squad.

Name: Brenton Robb

Player: Luke Butterworth

Think Butterworth sums my cricketing ability up quite well. Not quite good enough to make the side on batting alone, not quite good enough to make the side based on bowling alone.

Welcome. :) Keep on posting and checking on results. The way we're going, you'll probably make the next side. ;)
