Nick Knight Retires from One Day Cricket

Eclipse

International Debutant
Yeah every one in Australia could not get there heads around Hollioake's non selection and why Irani keepet geting a game despite having one of the worst series by an Indervidual I can remember.

It was almost as bad as Ricky Pontings series against India a few years ago.

I would like to know what Hollioake ever did wrong to get droped he has always looked a bloody good player to me and his stats are bradman like in comparison to Irani's. It's not like his form has been poor ether I though he had an exellent season last year.

The Fact they did not even try him during the VB series or the world cup when Irani was failing so badly deffinatly suggests there was somthing unteward going on.

Considering Neil said that Peng was in poor form after he had scored that 92 I was just showing it was an ill-placed comment.
But one innings does not immediately mean he's in good form.

Eclipse, I feel you're yet again being harsh on England's batsmen.

Collingwood is a good ODI batsman, as are Thorpe and Flintoff, and Vaughan's recent performances have been very good.

As for Hollioake, I believe that there's tension between him and Nasser

Collingwood yes Thorp yes (I did not know he was coming back)

Flintoff does not qulify as a good ODI batsman in my Opinion because he would not make the side as a batsman alone I would not think?

Vaughan's recent performances have not been as good as you think. since coming back into the side during the VB series he has still avraged under 30 with just 3 fiftys one against the Netherlands (I think it was them & minow side non the less)
