Well its not complicated to play pass when it is shotgun or an empty back field. However, Urlacher gets sucked in on play action as he commits to the run more than most. Im not taking away from his considerable skills but he also has a glaring weakness.

Just to emphasize his great versatility, let me point out that in the 1943 season he led the league in passing, punting, AND interceptions! When he retired, Baugh set 13 NFL records in three player positions: quarterback, punter, and defensive back. A deserving charter member of the NFL HOF.

A member of the Dallas Cowboys of the 1970s, Cliff Harris gained prominence as the hardest hitting safety in football. Undrafted out of a college I can't pronounce (Ouachita Baptist), he was picked up by the 'Boys as an UDFA, and went on to make six Pro Bowls, and be appointed First Team All-Pro four times, in just a ten year career (he retired at the age of 31 to go into business). He was a starting safety on the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team.

I'll take Ted Hendricks as one of my OLB's. Played 215 straight regular seasons games, won four Superbowls and holds the unoffical record for the most blocked punts, field goals and PAT's and was selected to the Pro-Bowl eight times.
And I can't hold off any more. I take as my option offensive player THE REAL LT, LaDainian Tomlinson, the best all-round RB in the game and (hopefully) the best RB in history. Holder of the most TD's scored in a season (31), most rushing TD's in a season (28), most points scored in a season (186), most consecutive games with a rushing TD (18), most consecutive games with multiple rushing TD's (8), quickest player to reach 100 TD's in 89 games and is the only player in NFL history to rush for 1000 years and recieve 100 passes. With Eric Dickerson and LT in the backfield it's going to be near impossibe to stop the rushing attack.

I'm going to finish off my defensive line with a very large mammal, DT Warren Sapp. Drafted 12th overall by the Bucs, Sapp was selected to the Pro Bowl in seven consecutive seasons (1997-2003) and was elected as a First Team All-Pro in four of those years (1999-2002). He was chosen as a member of the 1990s All-Decade team, and won the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 1999. He was a key member of Tampa Bay's Super Bowl XXXVII winning team.
Sapp marks our eleventh NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award (and Deacon Jones won a similar but non-official award in 1967 and 1968), and will be a key part of the most dominant defense ever.
