it is really good i think if india can sign Sir Viv but i don't see this as a sign of improvment. i mean thier batting would be good and strong as it has has been for the last ten years because of the big names like Tendulker, Dravid and Ganguly but the real problem that is there for india would still exist. that problem is having a good pair of fast bowlers.India coach job may tempt Sir Viv
Test great Sir Viv Richards has hinted that he might be interested in becoming India's new coach.
The former West Indies skipper does not have a formal coaching qualification.
But during a visit to Delhi, he said: "What I have is the experience of playing in 124 Tests. I know I have a sound knowledge of the game."
India are looking for a new coach after New Zealander John Wright gave up the job following the recent home series against Pakistan.
Current Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore and Australians Greg Chappell, Geoff Marsh and Tom Moody have all been linked with the job.
Although he refused to give a direct answer about his possible interest, Richards said: "There is nothing wrong in having a foreign coach.
"The game is getting globalised and this way we can learn from each other."

i think it would be good for india to sighn a spacialist fast bowler coach. someone like , waqar, wasim, alan donald or some one else. they can keep a batting coach also but the reall focous should be on the fast bowlers. if u see the history of cricket in india. india has never had a fast bowlar in wasim, waqar, alan donald and other big names of fast bowlar's calibar.
