If England dos'nt allow Zimbabwe to partispate in their country & Icc shifts the Venue, Which Country is best to host the 2009 T20 Tournament & for wat reason?:goof:

australia. We haven't hosted any major cricket tournament for 16 or so years and are the premier team in the world We also have infrastructure and support there.

New Zealand because NZ has not had a chance to host any major Cricket tournament by itself.....NZ more than Australia deserves it....Otherwise I would suggest someone like Scotland or Scotland and Ireland combined should be allowed to host it....

The reasons for moving the tournament from England are so damn stupid that it would be justified then to move it to enable Scotland host it and more or less leaving it in the UK, IMHO...

I think that they should play either this or the champions trophy in associate countries to raise awareness and interest of cricket in these nations.

Other than that, the world t20 would be a good first tournament for new zealand to host

Thats a nice idea... Guess T20 should be a better option in associate countries such as UAE, Ireland & Kenya where infrastructure is a bit better then others....

I like the idea of Scotland and Ireland also. I guess the time of year of the tournament may rule NZ out, I'd guess that there would be a bit hard to move an ICC tournament even this far out, with scheduling etc.

Whilst England is far from perfect, we have seen on a number of occasions on recent tours how the weather is an issue in the above locations.

Thats fine for individual games or a series, but after the success of the 20/20 WC in SA as weather ruined event is not the best idea.
