Correct. Syd Hird took 6/135 for NSW v Jardine's Team - nearly got him a selection for the 1st Test of the Bodyline series in Sydney . But he had to settle for 12th Man duties.Archie Jackson died aged 23 during the bodyline series after a truncted Test career which initially promised of Bradmanesque proportions !! Bill Hunt played 1 test . Their Rozelle Junior technical school in Sydney was coached by Arthur Mailey .

I was once selected to tour with an Australian team, alas it never happened, I think I gave a lot to this great game and not just playing, more in the media side of things. Who am I?
