I only bowled lobs and did not bowl in my only Test. The WSC link is more do to with; in what was only a 2nd 11 picked for this Test.

Edgar Mayne threw me out when he asked for a bicycle pump on the way to England. From that trip on I always packed one in one of my 40+ bags of luggage.

I made a very inauspicious start to my test career with 5 ducks in my first 6 innings, the only glimmer of hope being a superb innings of 1 to break the sequence! I subsequently went on to captain my country. Who am I?
