Is it Slater, or Siddhu Perhaps

Well, I am not looking for "statistics", but basically batsmen who are 'as per say" more prone or likely to get out in the 90's. Couldbe 190's, 290's. Batsmen u think might not make it to 100...there u go..nervoussssss 90's

Who takes the crown

Stephen Fleming must be up there surely...I think he's been out about 5 or 6 times in the 90's.

Good question.

Clem Hill once made consecutive scores of 99, 98 and 97; but Michael Slater holds the record for getting out most times in the 90s (9).

Don't know why you think Siddhu is in contention, he only got out 4 times in the 90s.

It's a tricky one - a better way to look at it would be their 90:100 ratios, and I imagine Fleming would be near the top on that one?

Innings where batsman made an undefeated score of 90-99 have been excluded. It appears that Mike Smith, Clem Hill, Michael Slater, Alvin Kallicharran and Stephen Fleming are the worst 'nervous 90s' players.

After watching Butcher, I wonder if there are any nervous 40's batsmen. :D

What about Mark Richardson? 3 90's, 4 100's - wouldn't be surprised to see him enter that list soon enough.

With Slater it is not just statistical. He was all free flowing and exciting batting untill he hit 90. After that point you could see him get fidgety, nervous and just bloody awful.

And it got far worse after people started talking about it - he'd just hit ninety and the wheels would fall off.

How many times does he have to say hes not looking for stats?

They dont neccessarily have to get out in the 90's, they just have to change the way they play, and look nervous out there.

And there are no stats to show this, so stop coming up with stats!

Brendon McCullum fits that criteria perfectly. That was quite painful to watch.

Yes, but McCullum has worked on his game and could be a great player of the future for us. He is playing well at ODIs and Tests but the start of his career was awful. Great player.
