Once caught a Jetstar flight from Wellington to Gold Coast. I got there super early and they offered to put me the exit row for free. Obviously no one paid for an exit row seat because by the time boarding was finished, there was no one else sitting in the two exit rows on my side of the plane.

The only person sitting in either of the exit rows on the left hand side of the plane was ... All Blacks legend Christian Cullen.

For 3.5 hours, I considered myself Cully's equal.
