Barath proved himself with that 100 against the Aussies and Brathwaite was clearly the best batsman in the u19 championship imo, what an opening partnership they will be for us soon .

Yeah he's an opener, which is why i think we've struck gold with him and Barath coming through at the same time, good luck trying to get them two out early!!.. .

From this last u19 WC there have been a few batsman that have really excited me and possibly could added to the list above or a new thread could be made.

2. Dominic Hendricks (South Africa)
3. Colin Ackermann (South Africa)
4. PBB Rajapaksa (Sri Lanka)
5. Mitch Marsh (Australia)

Add to that Hendricks. Ended up leading run scorer of the tournament with an average of 97.

Add to that Hendricks was player of the tournament and he is acknowledged by the coaching staff to be behind Colin Ackermann in ability who had a decent tournament averaging 52 but didn't get to bat as much as Hendriks being that he batted at 4.

Both have better records than Rossouw and Vandiar at u19 level TT and sure you cannot fully compare but its promising.
