Only because they didn't play ACT until round 4!
I beat Karachi who arn't too bad. And if you look at ACT's stats compared to mine, 3 wickets is a very good fight.

Maybe because I was leading Div 5 4D when I was put down as a basement team? Marc, just because your not included in this, doesn't mean you have to show your pettyness as well.
I'm not showing any pettiness at all, just cannot work out how a side that aren't topping either league they're in are being pronounced a stand out - a surprise package maybe, but by no means the stand out side.

Because, until that narrow loss to ACT, I was topping the 4D Div 5 table :P

And where in OD?
For a team with my stats it's amazing, I'm not actually bottom. So that's another triumph.

Seriously, Marc, you can deny it all you want, but if anyone else was managing Mashonaland you would be singing their praises.

Actually I wouldn't be, because I haven't even looked at any Division 5 scores all season.

However, if you care to read what I've actually posted, you'll see that although I cannot see how a team that is not leading either form can be the stand out, they have outperformed expectations.

Maybe you've forgotten to read anything said about Mashonaland? I WAS LEADING DIVISION 5 UNTIL THE MATCH AGAINST ACT WHICH I LOST NARROWLY WHEN I WAS PUT DOWN AS A TEAM SET TO SPEND THE SEASON FIGHTING WITH GUYANA AND FREE STATE AS BOTTOM CLUB IN THE WCC.

Clear enough? ;)

All the other teams mentioned were not bottom of division certs to my knowledge

That is still not a "Stand out" team, but a team that is outperforming expectations though!
So what is a standout team then? Surrey anyone?

A stand out team is a team that stands out from the rest owing to it's superb performances across the board.

apart from VB Cup i dont think ND have won a game for 2 seasons...

I dont think ND can be considered as the most disapointing team, on paper its fair to say they have the worst team in WCC, so its not really a surprise they have gone so poorly.

Come on... it has not been that they have a bad team on paper the manager has made some really bad selections (m. Vaughen)
