I can't work out how saying something about egg-chasing can be thought of as an insult. Is ANYONE actually interested in the rubbish?

(I know Aussies and Kiwis are because being in a perpetually inverted state gives them a false sense of, er, sense I suppose, but does anyone who actually matters like the game*?)

I wonder if people, in particular the Mad Butcher, will be calling McLennan the "Messiah" after this morning's performance.

Not the best. But still, makes for an interesting game next week to see who will make it through to the final.

Will be a shame if we don't, cause we played 3 weeks of excellent rugby league.

I always had a suspicion something like this could happen, especially with Great Britan needing to make up so much ground with the points difference.

That 'King Hit' in League. Ouch.

That old Indian captain who pulled off his fellow batsman when he got out.

The McDermott fiasco in the '93 U.S. Scrabble Championships was a shocker, that guy should hang his head in shame after that display.

I remember quite clearly the front page of the newspaper when that happened, though it sort of played second fiddle to some other mammoth events at the time.......
