yep. not that great a film. her comment is just a random gaffe probably due to this film series. The whole of Most Valuable Primate is up on Youtube. 2/5 stars I reckon.
Think everyone should just wait for the next Jomboy vid.
Nah.. think they are being hologrammed through some AR or VR software to the MCG. The best part is when they have one of the Indian commentators who is in the studio in Mumbai joining Mark Nicholas, Hayden and Gavaskar who are actually at the ground. I think we had a funny moment when it looked like Gavaskar just walked into Manjrekar and then walked out again, probably at Perth. Are they being greenscreened from a studio on top a live shot of the MCG? Something about the lighting there is triggering the uncanny valley effect hard for me. Like Irfan looks like he's there but Manjrekar is... hovering?
There's literally an old photo of Head doing the finger in ice thing and he still doesn't believe it, lol.View attachment 43907
This man went to gaol for the road rage death of a 65yo and is lecturing people about setting an example for others.
WAFG. It's almost as though he was playing in the name of a higher calling.“I was going to try to get back to Brisbane because Jane was going to be induced the next day,” Border recalls. “But Nicole came a day earlier, and we were still batting it out to try to save the Test match.
“I think I got out twice on the one day, tried to slog one and got out, and then by the end of the day we were battling to save it and I got out again. Then I raced off to the airport once the game was over, we saved the game, and then I met my daughter for the first time.
“It was in an era when that was just what we did. When my son was born, Dean, a couple of years earlier, I was in the West Indies. So I didn’t see him for a couple of weeks."
Sounds like he slogged out twice in a row and abandoned his country's mission because he wanted to see his own sprog? That's not the most misty eyed I've ever been over an article...![]()
‘My 100 per cent is a bit different’: Border on Parkinson’s treatment, Konstas, Smith and his SCG memories
Allan Border speaks candidly on Sam Konstas, his hopes of finally handing his trophy back to Australia, the friends he’s lost along the way, and his battle with Parkinson’s disease.www.smh.com.au
Not sure if paywalled, but one aspect of this particular article stands out given the current trend of players abandoning their country to watch their female partner do all the work and punch out a sprog:
