Miller: six or out?

Top angle camera shot from behind the boundary confirms that his foot is well inside and not touching any cushion/rope.

The other camera shot that is being circulated is very unreliable because it is "compressing" many metres and centimetres of space. It is not giving you the "depth" around the boundary space. So you get the illusion that his foot is very close to touching the cushion of the rope. But it wasn't. And any minor movement is probably just grass/soil.

Because top angle shot (which gives you accurate vision around the boundary space) clearly shows his feet were well inside the rope. Clear gap at all times when he is contact with the ball.
it's compressing mate, but it shows the impact of the foot on the sponge and shows the ripple on the apron at the bottom of the sponge.
his foot clipped the sponge.

Look if you are convinced that it was a 6 , it’s OK . This is not the first time there has been a controversial catch in cricket 🏏 .

As Jarrod Kimber explained in his YouTube video, consider the catch as SKY’s foot of God.BED270AA-B6F8-4184-BE8F-08407382CF47.jpeg

Apologies, I think the footage I was referring to must be fake.
The aerial clip it's difficult to see because of a caption on the screen, but I'm 99% there's a few inches between the foot and the boundary in that shot as centurymaker says.

Unless the one I saw is the stride before the one you can see in the aerial shot. **** knows.

EDIT
So, apologies, I think it's possibly an optical illusion. When the foot is planted, from that new angle you don't see part of the cushion as it's behind the foot. It just happens that a little bit of the apron at the bottom of the sponge behind the foot is like crinckled/crumpled. so when the foot is removed from the shot as he goes into the next step, that part of the sponge is suddenly exposed, which makes it look like it moves.
i think the aerial shot just about proves it was inside the sponge. apologies.

No , need to apologise. These things happen in cricket . You will get some decisions in your favour, some decisions will go against your Team .

If you really wanted to put image , you should have put Gill’s catch in WTC final . Unnecessary drama over a 50-50 catch . And on top of that he put that catch image on his Twitter account 🤣

Imagine players started whining on social media every time a decision goes against them🤕

there's a clip on facebook reels, which shows that his left boot JUST touched the boundary sponge whilst the ball was still in his hand.
I've seen that clip and it's not clear and obvious. And this is coming from someone who was desperately hoping while watching the replays that his foot had touched it. Like I said before, I have no problem with it being given out.

I like the moaning that the boundary sponge had been moved and that the faded area inside it is where the rope should have been and as his foot was over that it should have been 6.

why would they move the boundary from its previous position anyway? its not like it was moved to perfectly center it to the pitch, as it was only moved about 30cm and grounds everywhere always have short and long sides, etc. i think india directed this to diminish SA 6 hitting and in that sense, this is a dark day for cricket. it just abominable.

the patch of yellow could have been from another days play. Maybe they relayed the boundary after that.
