Rice like Procter definitely kept their best batting for the county Championship. In same games in the rebel series we went Rice at 5 & Procter at 6 with 4 other bowlers. Rice retired at 45 at Natal.Don't think it's exclusively County Champ as I imagine some tour games might be in there.
