I guess it’s probably the most humble (well Mahela is part of the Mumbai set up) team. Gets extra for being on the losing side
How do they judge that? Also the only thing Mumbai's winning this year.
Worse, they told them to check for a no ballDid a bunch of Delhi guys beat up the ump or something
They even have decimal points...what a load of old tosh!
For once you've written something that is both sensible and that I agree with. Not all hope is lost.I'm going to add, wickets per match is a pretty silly stat.
That would do what strike rate does already.Wicket's per over would be better...as it would actually take into account just how much someone bowled in a game.
SR is number of balls taken per wicket, can work it out through simple division but a more to the point stat. Either avg and sr are enough. WPM is just a way for losers to rank some bowlers higherFor once you've written something that is both sensible and that I agree with. Not all hope is lost.

They're the same stat just expressed differently, and SR makes a lot more sense and is easier to comprehend than "wickets per over"SR is number of balls taken per wicket, can work it out through simple division but a more to the point stat.

ie, a stat that shows how good a bowler was relative to the rest of his team's bowlers / how much he bowled"WPM is just a way for losers to rank some bowlers higher."
While there is some merit in this statement, it is a stat which explains why a bowler is so important to a team. Cases in point are Muralitharan and Hadlee who, to a certain extent, 'carried' their teams' attacks.
Fair comment. Valid for comparisons within a team only.ie, a stat that shows how good a bowler was relative to the rest of his team's bowlers / how much he bowled
that's all it is, yet people treat it as if it means a bowler is better than another bowler
List of notable non-ATG bowlers by this criteria:Isn't 5 WPM generally considered one of the key criteria for distinguishing an ATG bowler from an ATVG or am I just ********
