Looks like its going to be tough it get back into the sqaud :(, some good performances there. It looks like the domination factor has gone and its going to be a good old fight for the title. But then again we haven't lost a league game yet have we?

no we have not lost a league game yet but we have had to fight for the points in some games........so anything can happen

Webbers v Hartlepool

Much tipped this as the mis match of the season, the strong webbers and the weak hartlepool. hartlepool never got going when they had a man sent from the field in the first 9 minutes. webbers took full control with the visitors dominating proceedings and playing well, however only getting 7 / 17 shots on target... but controlled the play well. The webbers keeper had a slow day with only one shot fed his way. all in all a good win for the webbers and they look the goods on top of the table...

Webbers v Doncaster

With the webbers management looking towards a solid season, the webbers first xi where on show against Doncaster. the squad has been split into 2 sides, with one playing an alternate game for the webbers first squad and the other playing alternate games for the webbers reserves.....they are looking to have all players on the park so fitness stays at its highest level and if this doesnt seem to work then it will go back to the webbers first xi rotation. Well webgers come out and for once didnt have all the possession there way with doncaster althought the score line doesnt show it, doncaster really put up a good fight even having the same amount of shots as the webbers did however finishing quality was the difference with webbers getting 3 past the doncaster defence to see them ontop of the table by 2 points with a game in hand. However slight concern for manager Bugs malone as the doncaster goal was from a tyerrible mix up between keeper and defenders and the doncaster forward walked the ball in to see them snatch a goal back but the webbers where too strong and took out the game 3 - 1...

Webbers v Gillingham

The board did as they stated and rotated the hole side like they have a a newly look side come out for the game v gillingham, in a tough fought game both sides tusseled for domination and marc scored early on to give the webbers a nice 1 - 0 lead however the webbers could not crack the line again in the 90 mins of game time.....however gillingham did cross the line but it was at the wrong end of the field and that put the webbers up 2 - 0. a solid performance by the webbers which seen them take a 5 point lead onto pof the table after 9 rounds and look comfortable however there is still along way to go.

mate reserves have not played a game yet but i will be posting all news on both first xi and reserves, but so far all have played in first xi in the last 2 games....
