Match #8- India vs Ireland (D)- Nassau County Cricket Stadium, New York- June 5th-- Group A

FBU

International Debutant
5.5 overs left for the seamers and 3 wickets to get..

They had to ruin it with 5 overs left and Axar comes on. 2nd ball wicket.

Some good late hitting from Delany, a shame he ran out of partners.

That total of 96 probably won't be enough but it was more than Ireland looked like getting when they were 8 wickets down for 50.

Whatever it takes!!!
The pitch is one thing and probably understandable as wickets need time to settle down, esp. drop-in ones but the outfield is shocking. It shows that even if you can work miracles and get a stadium done in 4 or 5 months, crucial things like outfield and pitches need time to sort of knock-in.
