Best way to boost your NRR is bat for a full 20 overs, especially if it’s a good wicket. Complete lack of clear thinking and strategy again.

I was going to ask what happens to NRR if we bowl them out really cheaply. I'm guessing you're limited to how much you can boost it?
So does that potentially cause a wierd scenario where we want them to score relatively slowly for 20 overs rather than dismiss them quickly?

You can tell I'm new to this.

You can tell I'm new to this.
No, if you bowl them out it still counts as 20 overs for the bowling team. So 70 all out in 10 overs would be a run rate of 3.5

Thanks, that makes sense. But would it limit how much you can boost your NNR when batting as it would only be weighted by a small number of overs?
