managerial sports games

I've seen some managerial type sports games around for both cricket & football but don't know too much about them....

can anyone give me a low down on what they're about & the better ones to look for - both cricket & football, as I'm also aware that there are different producers (much like the EA v PES for football games)..........

Cricket - the ICC series is the leader atm, but is out of date.

Similar to Football Manager in the way that it will ruin your life :P

footy fanatic is the best afl manager around and the new one is coming out very very soon. Actually supposed to come out today, but it got delayed. :@

Agreed with Marc. FM is miles ahead of TCM... that said TCM isn't bad, merely FM is the greatest PC game ever IMO.

thanx to all for the help..............

not a lot of PC games available up here - everything is going towards console.............
however have managed to pick up a Big Bytes copy of CM 99/00 - haven't seen anything else about atm..............

looks like I'll have to wait a while for the cricket game.................
