I think Kyle Mills has a good chance fo breaking Zaheer's record if he plays more games.
He's not going to bat at number 11 in many matches though

Owing to not outs!

I'd say Hoggard's improvement with the bat (which translated into his batting for Yorkshire) might make him a candidate.

Harmy or Jones (Simon that is) could very well score a fifty the way they hit out at the end, both already have slogged quick fire 30's.

I think Hoggard has a pretty good chance his batting has come on a lot. I doubt Harmison will get one though. from the Aus v. Pakistan series i think kasprowicz is most likely to make one

he will unless martin or tuffey are selected(likely), mills hopefully won't get any more test matches anyway, interesting ian healy said kyle mills is the best number 11 he's ever seen.

Only against Bangladesh, I reckon. ;)
I'd say Hoggard might possibly score one - but he'd need about a day's play!

I would love to see Akhtar slog a 50. :)

Zaheer has now scored the highest ever score for a #11.
Well Akhtar has the highest score by a number-eleven in ODIs, too.
I'd certianly not bet against him scoring a Test-half-century - but equally I'd not place any money on it either.
