Can't help but wonder why you didn't just stick that reply in the same thread as the post which you're replying to :p

Never like making one-off posts in threads I'm not involved in in the long-term. Used this thread for that purpose a good few times before ITBT.

I just go to last page when I've been out of a thread like that for a while tbh. Do it on the England threads on workdays most of the time

Aye, can't fathom how people do that. If I don't read every post of a thread (barring those I skip past for their irrelevance, eg Spinksy-Jakester1288 exchanges) I don't follow it at all, simple as.

That's fine for most threads, but tour threads you are often just missing a load of "whoa great delivery" posts if you skip a few 40ppp pages. Would like to add I am one of the main contributors of such posts! Sure, there is interesting discussion, but the best discussion usually takes place between the close of play and start of the next day's play, this is the point where I'm most likely to post (the two things are not connected)

Oh yeah I've thought that loads. Often, though, when it's non-UK hours, I find even that moves so fast there can be 2 posts' worth of pages when you're asleep. So hence with non-England tour threads, I just don't really tend to bother following them.

This is a thousand monkeys working at a thousand typewriters. Soon, they'll have finished the greatest novel known to man.

All right, let's see...”It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times?" You stupid monkey!
