Apparently I am actually related to David Dickinson. Something like my Great-Grandad's dad (my Great-Great-Grandad, who I obviously have no memory of) was also David Dickinson's Grandad...

David Dickinson is 13 years older than my Dad, but had my Dad's Dad (my "Special Grandad" as I've always called him) not died when Dad was 14, he'd be quite a bit older than David Dickinson - about 13 years again, IIRR. Despite the fact they'd be, what, second cousins? Cousin twice removeds? I dunno how these cousins work, I don't have any and am probably fortunate not to.

Either way, David Dickinson is the same generation as my Grandad who I never met, but is just about smack in between him and my Dad.

Its getting buggers to remember how to spell and pronounce it, get Rafferty so much it ****s me off no end. Especially when people change the way i've written my name to print out things spelt wrong (My uni card, my work pass, all my logins at work bar 2.......)
