Bowlers brain batters

Batsmen might like to think a fast bowler's brains are in his knees, but in the Victorian under-19 team, it is the leather-flingers who have proved to be the smartest academically. The brains trust is led by the two spinners, Josh Mangan, who is studying architecture at Melbourne University after graduating from secondary school with an ENTER score above 98, and Jack McNamara, who passed VCE with a score of 97.1. One of the fast men scored 85, while three batsmen failed to reach half-centuries.
