Yep, he won three stages there. Then again, Bradley McGee was eighth in the Tour of Switzerland, and he's a sprinter...

Rogers is four minutes and 11 behind Armstrong in 67th.
McGee was 8th last year in the Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy) :D

And none of the DSC were capable of going with him... on a Vosges C2... terrible performance from the "Dream Team" especially since T-mobile had three guys there.

An heroic performance from Rasmussen today a 160 km breakaway!! Armstrong despite losing the yellow jersy will not be worrying im sure

I'm very happy for Voigt to be in yellow, but wonder if it will put a strain on CSC to keep him in it instead of letting Sastre, Julich and Basso help stalk Armstong with T-Mobile in the upcomming mountains...Also its great to see Beloki back in some form after his horror 2003 crash.

I'm not a big Tour follower, but it was interesting listening to some analysis on the way to work today. The guy who is supposed to be the expert was talking about how Armstrong having the yellow so early, and trying to keep it might have taken a fair bit out of the rest of his team who'd been trying to protect him - thus we saw him being left isolated in the last stage.

Lance supposedly laid down the law to his teammates, too - wondering how much they want to be there.

Not if he gets left alone like he did yesaterday...covering all the attacks himself will just about kill him.
Don't let that fool you, his team will be back.

He showed how well he can survive alone anyway.

Well now if he is going to lose it, now is the time.

I have a question for Hakon, was he gunning for Rasmussen even though he is Danish?

Also where is Iban Mayo? Perhaps the most over-rated cyclist in the peloton?

Rasmussen's one of my favourite cyclists - he deserved a stage win after all the hard work he put in last year. I like Rabobank cyclists in general, despite the fact that they nearly always underachive in the Tour...

Did anybody see the guy running along Rasmussen on the top of one of the climbs minus his pants? I saw this on the highlights and cracked up laughing and I also noticed McGee is climbing well. He and O'Grady it seems are the best climbers of all the sprinters.

I wouldn't call McGee a sprinter as such.

IIRC it was an FDJ rider who split his pants. I can't remember too well though as I was half asleep at the time. Having a rest day means I get a decent night's sleep :D

Yeah, managed to catch it before I fell asleep. Nasty stuff...happened in the food zone, I think

Ah the feed zone probably one of the dangerous things in cycling. Plus the directionial islands in the middle of the road in France.
