well im still shocked and appaled

but since its ur decision and ur the boss , i Have to go with it

but its really unfair when like the top ppl from last years betting suddenly crash out and a second life anchor is given...
all you know that 20 000 deduction might make no difference in the end if they made some good bets and got around heaps of money just by betting that 10 000 on 2-3 rounds..

U all r forgetting that last year the 1st person was bankrupt near the end of the season but this time around it has happened in the 2nd round itself and its not 1,not 2,not 3 but 4 persons who have become bankrupt and few r on the verge.

Myself,Sriram and Gb all were bankrupt last season but near the end so there was no question of any loan as we had enjoyed till then and we didnt have to sit out for the whole season.

There is a hell lot of difference between the situation now and the situation before.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Paid's original post.

I personally think this is a ridiculous decision, Many of us lost our money early on last season and we didn't get any compensation, so its a bit unfair to just go tacking on this rule here and now..

If it had been decided earlier (ie before the start of the new season) I wouldn't have minded one bit, but to change it now is absolutely ludicrous.

Just my opinion, but I think the wrong decision was made here today.

i agree with david , paid , ump money and lord

i think that is a bit unfair ... but then again it is my view on it..
but really if me and david or ump were to be bankrupt i really doubt if any loans would have been brought in for us and whether we would have got another chance..

you might say it has happend now and will happen again or might happen again , but i doubt that

The 1 thing the lot of you are forgetting is that the betting side of things is a bit of fun...

there is no advantage to the people who are getting a loan...

What all you complainers are neglecting to realise is that those that who lost money this time lost it on something which there was no odds quoted for, so therefore there should have been void bets rather than losses!

If someone loses because they bet on a win, and the team loses, that's a different kettle of fish.

Last season odds for a draw were always $2 anyway. Which you participated in.

Moral of this story is: Don't underestimate Free State

if its just a game then why do we have to give those people with no money left more money.

I havent bet yet in this comp because of the draw factor as most people have gone with a fast pitch with strong batsmen which will mean alot of runs and therefore more of a chance of a draw.

Last season i was out of it by round 4 or 5 if i rememeber correctly and i didnt complain as its only in good fun.

But this season we have a few people who bet a little more than others and we have a row over it its silly.
Of course (im not pointing any fingers or anything like this and im sure i might get in some heat about this) but its those ppl with a little more power.

Its my opinion and i always stand by my opinion( i always seem to get in trouble with my opinion as well which me thinks is a bit pointless) if i should keep my mouth shut just tell me.
As this is a forum we are all intitled to our opinions....i think anyway.

At no point were blanket odds of $2 for a draw quoted this year, and cutting just one word from a post really is stupid, since it doesn't show anything about what the post was actually about.

I have no problems if you want it to go ahead but it will not be run on the forum..
