Late Submissions

No. Thursday Midnight is fine, it is obvious everyone can get in by then...the only problem is the inconsistancy around thread closing. I say as long as either blewy, you, ian, argo or simon are up then one the 5 can close the thread...

Maybe because there has been a large amount of non-sumbissions aswell as a few late ones that have been accepted.

Just to note that I will never be around to close the threads at midnight as I don't have the internet on at home.

What ever Blewy decides will be OK with me. I think that the timeframe as it stands now is fine. It hasn't changed for ages. The only concern would be that there is no one is around to shut the threads down. It depends on how strict you want to be with it.

I like the idea that if the thread is open that teams can be posted. The thread may be shut at midnight and if you don't get it in then bad luck. You just run the risk.

What was the decision for this week?

I noticed at the bottom of my scorecard that the result was given to Jamaica even though they didn't submit a team!

And the Auckland v Northern Districts game, even though the game was won by Auckland the ND team was submitted after midnight Thursday.

Jamaica are current;y without a manager therefore they cannot be punished for a non-submission...

The submission after Midnight issue was left for the moment as there have been instances in recent weeks where i have let slide teams who have posted a couple of hours after the deadline...
