Kusal Mendis

GoodAreasShane

Cricketer Of The Year
Good to see Mendis back in form against the red ball, very enjoyable to watch in full flow. Maybe he should focus on Tests in the short to medium term, at this stage of his career I think the clarity of role provided by focussing on one format will benefit his shot selection

Yeah same here. He showed good composure. Plus I don't think he bats all that well vs spin. He had troubles against Leach and Rashid. He used to sweep the ball a lot when he first started. Now doesn't do that much.

After all SL should prepare home wickets that has some assistance to pacies.

Gomez656

U19 Cricketer
6 Test hundreds and still only 23.

Needs a biggie here.

Has 194 and 196 so far.
England think he is talented but I think he had 196 once otherwise, he was failure but played good knock in England for his first tour there. Otherwise failure in most matches in 2018 till today

SeamUp

International Coach
I think these tests against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa could really be the making of him. To get off to this sort of start gives him the best chance to carry on the momentum.
