It will depend on kind of pitches england give. If there are green mambas india will have edge with bumrah. But if they give flat roads then bumrah will break down

Bumrah
Shami
Akashdeep
Shardul
Would be my attack, with Prasidh and Siraj as backups. Also get Nair, Sudarshan in the squad.

They did well enough to win consistently in a way the Ganguly side never managed.

Yeah and have you seen the difference between Ash/Jaddu and their opposition spinners? Clearly not if you want to keep up this pretension.
The Ganguly/Dhoni team has comparable results away to Kohli. It's only in home dominance that Kohli really exceeds.

And the point of the difference is exactly that. Much easier to get Indian bats out in Kohlis time even with worse bowlers.

I mean the difference at home really is just that one team drew more and the other wins more. Both lose at about the same rate, and the draw/win difference is probably just the fact of strong bowling vs strong batting

I don't disagree. And flatter wickets

Against mostly worse opposition though? Only Australia/SA were notably better.

You keep saying that, but they outscored their opposition at home massively for the most part. Can't keep hedging without proof.

Pak was a good team. SL were better then too.

Hence why I strongly back the Kohli side. They've manufactured wins more often with bowling well.
