Yeah I understand the logic, but Jaddu is the one I feel who will trouble the batsman the most. He has the higher pace and flatter trajectory of a Kumble, whilst maintaining just enough turn to beat the bat. Predicting which ones go straight and which ones turn is a nightmare. Just ask the English batsmen.
We can agree that Kumble and Harbi will be more deadly then usual with DRS.

WI will win if they get the batting of Kalicharan, Richards and Lloyd.
Yeah we have a long thread about this where I was relentlessly attacked for suggesting WI draw in Kohlis India and 2000s Aus win. Several thought both teams will be routed.

with both Warne and Macgill, an Aussie victory is possible but outside of Hayden and Martyn, their spin playing stocks are no where near as good as Windies.

Mark Waugh excellent player of spin. Lehmann also quite capable and Clarke later too.

I think Almost all Kohli's era Indian batsman will dominate Wi pacers and McGrath, gillespie, lee etc in Indian pitches.

Warne barring the very end was never that good in India though. To succeed on these tracks, you need a faster spinner with a flatter trajectory.

If it's a rank turner, it's 50/50 tossup as WI have better bats but their spinners will become mega.

If it's a flat pitch, WI dominate or draw.

If it's a classic normal turner, advantage India especially if they bat first.

Yeah produce classic normal turners and win. Simple

Viv is a part timer, you get a freak 6-9 once in a while, but they get belted for the rest of the series. This won't be nearly enough.
Again it depends on how many tank turners India uses. Imran Tahir and Simon Harmer were made to seem worldclass.

One game won by lottery pitch and the second by pacer overcoming conditions.

He is facing mich worse bats of spin on much better wickets.
Still would need those slight changes in pace and trajectory imo. I took even the great Warne, a lot of time to figure that out, it won't be as easy even on the bigger turners. He definitely does better, but not enough imo. If anything, McGrath is the bigger threat.
